JEZREEL VALLEY, sometimes called the Valley of Armageddon. Many battles have been fought in this valley that Napoleon called the perfect battlefield. It’s one of the most fertile areas in the Holy Land. View is looking toward the southeast, with the Sea of Galilee at left and the Dead Sea at the right and the Jordan River Valley between the two. Maps by Stephen M. Miller.

We will blend barely noticeable watermarks into the maps. All large watermarks, like those used on the Casual English Bible website, will be removed. Watermarks help protect the copyright. Maps are easily and often misappropriated. Publishing copyrighted material on Pinterest, Facebook, and similar social media sites without permission is illegal, and is not usually with the realm of “fair use.” Most people don’t seem to know that.
