I HOPE ONE THING IS CLEAR BY NOW. I read the whole Bible.
Every word. In fact, I wrote very word.
Well, re-wrote it into today's English.
Along with the footnotes. And there are now over 1,000 Bible maps, most of them in 3D style. I had to learn some pretty geeky cartography software to do that project.
It took me the best part of a decade. But I just finished paraphrasing and mapping all 66 books of The Casual English Bible.® I wrapped up the maps for Ezekiel today, loaded them onto a PDF, and posted them for sale.
Ezekiel's maps are the first of a next generation of maps: new design, lots more content info about the maps, and better maps than ever. (We tend to get better at something the more we do it.) You can take a look at the review copy of the atlas here, with all 52 maps and illustrations: Ezekiel Atlas Flipbook.
Psalms songs continue
We drop another new song in our expanding Psalms collection late tonight: New Song [Psalm 40]. With the help of AI, we're adding new, contemporary songs to selected Psalms in The Casual English Bible.® I released the music video of the song today, too. I'm not sure many churches would play this song in a worship service. But if they can find a good sax player, they should. They could watch the kiddos dance to the be-bop sounds of the 50's. Yeah, we did that to Psalm 40. It had to be done. There are all kinds of songs in the Bible book of Psalms.
My son took the video of his wife swimming with the sharks, which I added to the music video for New Song. He said the shot came as a surprise to him. He said he turned around and suddenly saw his wife swimming through quite a crowd of fins. Like a good photographer, he kept filming. Happily, I now get to enjoy time with their three daughters, who came later.
My son said he knew the sharks were peaceful. That's what the locals told them.
Steve
