Psalm 150
How to thank God
It’s going to get loud
1 Thank the LORD.[1]Praise the LORD in Jerusalem’s Temple.
Praise him in his heavenly home.
2 Thank him for his awesome work.
Praise him for how awesome he is.
3 Trumpets, thank him.
Strings of harp and lyre, thank him.
4 Dance to thank him.
Shake those tambourines and thank him.
Strum those strings and thank him.
Flutes, you should thank him, too.
5 Thank him, cymbals.
Louder, please. Resounding thanks it is.
6 If you’ve got breath
Use it now
And praise the LORD:
“Thank you kindly, LORD.”
