Map Jacob meets the relatives in Haran. He leaves Canaan to get away from his angry brother Esau. He travels to Haran in what is now Turkey to find a wife. He marries two, after his father-in-law tricked him into marrying the oldest daughter first, before the younger daughter that Jacob wanted.
